About Inti Academy

Chartered on January 30, 2009, Inti Academy of Manchester, Ltd. is a certified non-profit corporation in the State of New Hampshire and a tax-exempt public charity under IRS Code 501(c)(3). Its mission is to serve the youth of New Hampshire, especially refugee, immigrant, and disadvantaged children, by supporting soccer, academics, art, music, and other enriching forms of activity and education.

The name Inti reflects the Bolivian heritage of one of the Inti’s founders. Inti is the Incan word for the sun that is the source of light, life, and growth. Inti brightens the lives of New Hampshire youth and nourishes their growth.

After running year round programming for 10 years, Inti ceased active soccer and art programming in 2019. The Center for New Americans, a partnership between Southern New Hampshire University and YWCA New Hampshire, absorbed and enhanced most of Inti’s programming with the support and encouragement of Inti and its directors.

Inti now seeks to support the Center for New Americans, as well as other programs that serve New Hampshire’s youth.

Consistent with its mission, Inti provides direct scholarships for children to develop as soccer players, works with and supports other organizations to generate programs that provide developmental opportunities for New Hampshire youth, and serves to facilitate community dialogue and collaboration about improving the lives of our children.
